Profil Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis pada Pembelajaran Biologi Siswa Kelas XI IPA SMA PGRI Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023

This research aims to determine the profile of critical thinking abilities in biology learning for class XI IPA students at SMA PGRI Pekanbaru for the 2022/2023 academic year. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out using questions, interviews, observation sheets and documentation. The sample in this study was 64 students taken from class XI science students. The results of research that has been carried out at SMA PGRI Pekanbaru, namely for the highest indicators in the indicators, provide further explanation with a percentage of 81% in the good category. Meanwhile, the lowest percentage in the indicator of building basic abilities with a percentage of 63% is in the poor category. Meanwhile, the overall average indicator is 72% in the sufficient category. So based on the results of this research it can be concluded that students' critical thinking abilities are in the sufficient category
