Pengaruh Kreativitas Guru terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Al-Qur'an Hadits di MTs Negeri 1 Pelalawan

The creativity of teachers was the level of their activity and creativity in fostering the growth and development of students, particularly in cultivating their interest in learning. Student interest in learning was influenced by teacher creativity. This study was motivated by the low interest in learning among students at Islamic Junior High School 1 Pelalawan. The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of teacher creativity on students' interest in learning the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith at Islamic Junior High School 1 Pelalawan. To explore this issue in depth and comprehensively, the researcher used quantitative research based on a correlation method, with a sample size of 153 respondents using the Likert Scale formula. Data collection techniques included the use of questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study was simple linear regression analysis with the equation Y = a (32.479) + b (0.223) X, as analyzed using SPSS. The analysis showed that the constant value (a) was positive at 32.479, indicating a positive influence of teacher creativity on students' interest in learning, while the coefficient value (b) indicated that if teacher creativity increased by one unit, student interest in learning would increase by 0.223. This demonstrated that teacher creativity affected students' interest in learning. The result of the coefficient of determination (R square) test was 0.223 or 22.3%. This meant that teacher creativity influenced students' interest in learning the subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith at Islamic Junior High School 1 Pelalawan by 22.3%, while the remaining 77.7% was influenced by other variables not included in this study.
