The purpose of this study is to determine whether employing video powtoon significantly improves the speaking skills of tenth grade students at SMKN 1 Seberida. The researcher uses video powtoon as a medium to investigate whether powtoon has a significant effect on students' speaking skills. The researchers used quasi-experimental approaches and quantitative design. Researchers used two classes as sample. The experimental class is X AT 4, while the control class is X AT 3. There were 22 samples in each class drawn, and the researchers utilized random sampling as their method of sample collection. Utilizing the findings of the paired sample t-test, the researchers employed SPSS version 29 to analyze the data. The paired sample t-test findings indicate a 0.001 < 0.05 sig-2 sided value. This indicates Ha is acceptance. In the meantime, the sig-2 sided result was 0.001 < 0.05 and the average figure of 8,364 was revealed by the independent sample t-test results. This indicates that there is a distinction between students who receive instruction using powtoon videos and those who receive instruction just through books. The study concludes that students' speaking skills can be influenced by video and that there are notable variations between those who effectively use video as a medium.
