Analisis Permintaan Minyak Goreng Rumah Tangga di Desa Pematang Tebih Kecamatan Ujungbatu Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Provinsi Riau
The problems affecting the demand and consumption of cooking oil are the price that tends to ncrease, the limited availability, the level of ncome and the ever-changing tastes of the people. This study aims to analyse: (1) Household characteristics. (2) Household characteristics of cooking oil demand. (3) Factors affecting household cooking oil demand. This research was conducted for 6 months starting from October 2023 to March 2024 n Pematang Tebih Village, Ujungbatu Subdistrict, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province using the survey method. Samples were taken based on Purposive Sampling, to Pematang Tebih Village consisting of 5 hamlets, a total of 86 people. Data were analysed descriptively and using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed (1) The characteristics of households n Pematang Tebih Village, Ujungbatu Subdistrict, have an average age that s still productive s from 32 years to 36 years old. The average number of family members s 3 people. The average household ncome s Rp 5,701,163. (2) The characteristics of household cooking oil demand can be seen from the price of cooking oil, the type of cooking oil and the amount of cooking oil consumption. The dominant cooking oil purchased by housewives s n the price range of Rp. 15,000 to Rp. 17,000 with the most purchased brand of packaged cooking oil s Minyakita cooking oil. The amount of cooking oil consumption by housewives s at most 4 litres / month (3) Factors that have a significant effect on the demand for cooking oil n a simultaneous manner are the variables of palm cooking oil prices, bulk cooking oil prices, coconut cooking oil prices, wheat flour prices, population ncome and population size. The value of R² = 0.851 which means that the contribution of the effect of palm cooking oil price, bulk cooking oil price, coconut cooking oil price, olive cooking oil price, wheat flour price, chicken meat price, rice price, population ncome and population size to the demand for cooking oil s 85.1%. While the remaining 14.9% s nfluenced by other variables that are not ncluded n this research model.
