Screening Awal (Compatibility, Filtration Test, dan Gugus Fungsi) Pengujian Biosurfaktant dari Virgin Coconut Oil Sebagai Alternatif Chemical Flooding
Surfactant flooding is one of the chemical EOR methods that is widely applied in the oil and gas industry because it is easier to apply and also cheaper. Currently, the surfactants applied in the chemical EOR method are divided into several types, namely anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants. In this study, researchers want to utilize the methyl ester content found in coconut oil to be used as a material for making biosurfactants which will later be applied to the application of the chemical EOR method. The sulfonation results for making VCO biosurfactant obtained the best results, namely 1:1.25 (K1). FTIR test results where biosurfactant from VCO has OH, CH, C=C, CO, SO, CN functional groups in the sample. The compatibility results were declared passed because it was clear and there were no deposits in the sample at any temperature. The results of the filtration test were obtained as a perpendicular line so that it was said to have passed the filtration test because it had no sediment, where the respective values were 0.1% FR = 1.38, 0.2% FR=1.04, 0.3% FR =0.8, 0.5% FR=1.04.
