Uji Aplikasi Biochar Sekam Padi dan Tithonia untuk Peningkatan Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Kacang Tanah (Arachis Hypogaea L.)
The research aimed to determine the effect of rice husk biochar and tithonia liquid organik fertilizer (LOF) on the growth and production of peanut plants. This research has been completed. The study used a factorial completely randomized design. The first factor was the dose of rice husk biochar (B) consisting of 4 levels (0; 0,6; 1,2; 1,8 kg/plot), and the second factor was the concentration of tithonia LOF (T) consisting of 4 levels (0; 200; 400; 600 ml/l), resulting in 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications, leading to 48 experimental plots. The parameters observed included plant height, relative growth rate, flowering time, harvest time, number of pods per plant, percentage of filled pods, dry pod weight per plant, dry seed weight per plant, and weight of 100 seeds. The observational data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and further tested with the Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test at a 5% significance level. The results showed that the interaction and main effects of rice husk biochar and tithonia LOF had significant effects on all observed parameters. The best treatment was found in rice husk biochar at 1.8 kg/plot and tithonia LOF at 600 ml/l. The main effect of rice husk biochar significantly affected all observed parameters, with the best treatment found in rice husk biochar at 1.8 kg/plot. The main effect of tithonia LOF significantly affected all observed parameters, with the best treatment found in tithonia LOF at 600 ml/l.
