This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the authority of the Village Head in fostering peace and order in the community in Makmur Village whether it has been going well or not. The indicators of this research use effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, responsiveness. The type of research located in Makmur Village, Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency is descriptive qualitative. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis, namely by prioritizing data collection by means of interviews, observations, and documentation. There are two groups of population and samples in this study, namely the village government totaling 3 people and the community totaling 7 people. The people in this case are those who live in Makmur village, Pangkalan Kerinci sub-district. The types and techniques of data used consist of primary data obtained directly through interview techniques and secondary data obtained through data processing which is a documentation study. While the data analysis technique used is by interviewing sources who are relevant to this research. Recommendations that need to be considered so that the activities that have been made run effectively and efficiently, the community must participate in carrying out activities in maintaining peace and order in the Makmur Village.
