Analisis Kemampuan Beton Self Healing Concrete dengan Penambahan Bakteri Bacillus Subtilis terhadap Nilai Kuat Tekan

Self-healing concrete is concrete that utilizes microbes in the composition of the concrete mixture which can make concrete self-healing and have a long service life. In addition, the resulting compressive strength will also increase so as to prevent cracks that occur in the concrete early. The aim of this study was to determine the quality and strength of concrete after being mixed using Bacillus Subtillis bacteria to determine the effect of Bacillus Subtilis bacteria and without Bacillus Subtillis bacteria on self-healing concrete on the physical form of concrete that is experiencing cracks. This research is experimental in nature conducted in the Civil Engineering Structure, Material and Computer Laboratory with reference to SNI 7656: 2012 with 15 samples of cylindrical test objects. Treatment age is 28 days and testing of compressive strength, tensile strength, crack recovery in concrete can be seen visually, SEM (Scanning Electronic Microscope). The results of this study showed that the compressive strength of concrete aged 28 compared to normal concrete with an average of 19.90 Mpa, for the compressive strength of concrete with the addition of Bacillus Subtillis bacteria increased with an average of 27.26 Mpa, and for the compressive strength of concrete with the addition of the bacteria Bacillus Subtillis after cracking decreased with an average of 18.40 MPa. From the results of the Scanning Electronic Microscope test on concrete, it can be seen that the difference in concrete added by Bacillus Subtillis bacteria, namely concrete added by Bacillus Subtillis bacteria, can be seen by needle-shaped bacterial cells.
