This study aims to describe and explain Transparency and Accountability in managing Village Finances in Pulau Muda Village, Teluk Meranti District, Pelalawan Regency. The theoretical basis in this study is Good Governance which is based on Permendagri Number 20 of 2018, concerning Village financial management namely planning, implementation, administration, reporting and accountability. The research method is descriptive qualitative, by comparing practice with existing theory, then a conclusion is drawn to be presented in the thesis. In research data collection techniques with interviews, documentation and observation. The conclusion of the results of this study shows that the implementation of accountability for financial management in the Pulau Muda village is in accordance with Permendagri No. 20 of 2018, seen from the procedures for preparing planning, implementation, administration, reporting and accountability in managing village finances. At the Transparency or Openness stage, Village financial management has implemented the principle of transparency in accordance with Permendagri No. 20 of 2018, where there is an information board on the APBDes and activity information boards, the transparency of the financial management of the Pulau Muda village is transparent.
