This study aims to find out how the role of the Health Service in dealing with stunting in Kampar Regency and to find out the obstacles in handling stunting in toddlers. Indicators in the role used include making rules or norms, providing education (individual), structural. This type of allocated research in Kampar Regency uses qualitative methods, namely a study that uses humans as research instruments and is adjusted to the situation in the field in relation to data collection which is generally qualitative in nature and is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of words. written or spoken from people and observable behavior. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling technique. The informants and key informants in this study were the Head of the Public Health Division of the Kampar District Health Office and the employees of the Health Service and the community concerned. The data collection techniques used consisted of Observation, Interview, and Documentation, the data collected was then used as the main raw material to analyze the empirical conditions and the objectivity of the existence of research objectives at the location being studied. Based on the analysis technique above, the researchers looked at and concluded that the role of the Health Service in Kampar Regency was optimal in handling stunting, there were still toddlers suffering from stunting in the Kampar Regency area, this happened because there were still obstacles in handling stunting.
