Tingkat Partisipasi Anggota dan Keberhasilan Usaha KUD Mekar Bersama di Desa Sei Kandis Kecamatan Pendalian IV Koto Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

One of the factors that influence the progress of cooperatives is the active participation of their members, without the participation of members, cooperatives will not survive. The level of participation of KUD members is very important to achieve the goal of establishing a cooperative. Member participation can be expected if the KUD can show its success and benefits to members and the community. The success of the KUD brings the activeness of the members, then the members and the community and even the government put their trust in the KUD. This study aims to analyze (1) the characteristics of KUD members, administrators, and profiles (2) the level of participation of members in KUD (3) the success rate of KUD businesses. The method used is the survey method. This research was conducted for 6 months from December 2022 to June 2023. The sample in this study was 37. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that (1). The characteristics of KUD Mekar Bersama respondents were that the average age of the management and members was 46 years. The average age of the respondents was classified as productive. The average educational level of administrators and members is 12 years. So the respondent's education is classified as moderate. The average business experience of management and members is 13 years. So the respondent's business experience is quite high. Meanwhile, the average number of family members and administrators is 3 people. Thus the number of dependents of the respondent's family is classified as moderate. (2). Identification of the level of participation of KUD Mekar Bersama management and members, it can be concluded that participation in the organization with an average of 17.13% is in the good category, participation in rights and obligations with an average of 12.64% is in the very category. good, and in capital with an average of 10.64% with a good category in general the level of participation of KUD Mekar Bersama members and administrators in Sei Kandis Village, Pendalian IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency is in the high participation rate category. (3). The success rate of KUD Mekar Bersama based on the results of calculating the ratio analysis of liquidity, solvency, activity and profitability can be said to be quite good where the profits owned by KUD Mekar Bersama have increased for 2021 and decreased in 2022 which is not too significant.
