Analysis of Lowland Rice Farming in Pulau Lancang Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. Under the Guidance of Mr Dr. Ir. Ujang Paman Ismail, M.Agr. Kuantan Singingi Regency has enormous potential in agriculture in general, food crops, especially in Pulau Lancang Village, the majority of the main livelihood is in the agricultural sector. This village is suitable for carrying out the process of developing agricultural cultivation because the weather and soil structure are very adequate for lowland rice farming. This research aims to analyze and determine: 1) Characteristics of lowland rice farming farmers, 2) Analyzing lowland rice farming, 3) Development of lowland rice farming. This research uses a survey method. The sample used in this research was 25 people who were carried out randomly. Data analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. This data source was obtained from primary data and secondary data. The results of the research show that the characteristics of farmers and the profile of lowland rice farming in Pulau Lancang Village are, the average age is 49.20 years, the average education level is 8.52 years, the average farming experience is 17.32 years. and the average number of dependents is 3.28 people. The source of capital comes from the farmers themselves, the average area of cultivated land is 0.53 hectares and the workforce is 1.12 people. The average production cost is Rp. 1,720,196.13 cultivated/mt, including variable costs of Rp. 1,665,642.80 cultivated/mt and fixed costs of Rp. 54,553.33 cultivated/mt. Meanwhile, dry grain production was 631.20 kg/cultivated/mt with a selling price of Rp. 6,000/kg produces an average gross income of IDR. 3,787,200 cultivated/mt and get a net income of Rp. 2,067,003.87 cultivated/mt. The RCR value is 2.20, which means it is more than 1 and the lowland rice business in Pulau Lancang Village, Benai District, Kuantan Singingingi Regency is worth pursuing.
