Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tanaman refugia border plant terhadap pengendalian hama Spodoptera exigua dan Liriomyza Chinensis serta hasil tanaman bawang merah. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Islam Riau, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11 No. 113 Kelurahan Air Dingin, Kecamatan Bukit Raya, Kota Pekanbaru selama 4 bulan, yaitu pada bulan Oktober 2023 sampai Januari 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dimana terdapat 5 perlakuan, setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 5 kali. Jumlah petak percobaan sebanyak 25 dalam satu petak percobaan terdapat 4 tanaman. Parameter yang diamati adalah jumlah hama, intensitas serangan hama, persentase serangan hama, umur panen, jumlah umbi per rumpun, berat basah umbi per rumpun, berat kering umbi per rumpun, susut bobot umbi. Data pengamatan dianalisis secara statistik dan dilakukan dengan uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengaruh Tanaman Refugia Border Plant Terhadap Pengendalian Hama Spodoptera exigua dan Liriomyza chinensis Serta Hasil Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) nyata terhadap parameter intensitas serangan hama, persentase serangan hama, umur panen, berat basah umbi per rumpun, berat kering umbi per rumpun. Dari berbagai macam perlakuan yang digunakan R1 (Cosmos caudatus) merupakan perlakuan terbaik.
