This study aims to determine the Evaluation of the Implementation of the Authority of the Village Head in Fostering Peace and Public Order in Genduang Village, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan Regency. This type of research used descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. Where to directly conduct research in order to get existing problems based on actual facts at the time of research using descriptive survey research types with interviews, observation and documentation as a tool for collecting data. The conclusion of this study is that there are still violations of peace and breaking the order as described in the phenomena namely gambling, and cockfighting, and theft of palm fruit due to the lack of socialization carried out by the village head to the community and the village head always cooperates with the RT and RW to strive for a safe and comfortable environment. However, these efforts did not lead to peace and tranquility for the residents. The theft continues even though the cooperation with the authorities, namely POLRI/POLICE, has been implemented, but it is known that the control and Community Development process carried out by the village head and the village government is lacking. Because of good control from the village government and a good coaching process it is felt that it needs to be run properly so that cases like this will be reduced. Suggestions on this matter are that it is hoped that the community will really follow or participate and participate in the implementation of shipping and security activities in Genduang Village. In terms of reporting about security disturbances to the community, the village head to the authorities (police) and also always coordinates with village officials such as the RT and RW so that we always carry out the authority and policies of the village head to create a sense of security and comfort for the community.
