Analisis Usaha Peternakan Kambing Etawa di Kelurahan Tangkerang Timur Kecamatan Tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau (Kasus pada Usaha Pak Kelik)

The etawa goat farming business at Pak Kelik's farm is a goat farming business activity to produce goats, goat milk and dry feces. This study aims to analyze: 1). Characteristics of breeders and goat farm employees and goat farm business profiles. 2). Cultivation techniques. 3). Production factors, production costs, production, income, business efficiency and BEP. The research method was a survey, a case in Pak Kelik's etawa goat farming business in Tangkerang Timur Village, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was carried out for six months starting from May to October 2020. Respondents in this study were breeders and two workers. The analysis used is Break Even Point (BEP) analysis. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. The results showed: (1) Farmers are at productive age with 49 years of age, 17 years of education or equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience, 4 family members. The history of Pak Kelik's goat farming business began in 2010, the form of an individual business with a small and medium scale, the business capital was started from their own capital, the number of workers from outside the family was 2 people. (2) The total number of goats on Pak Kelik's farm are 34 females and 4 males, with a depreciation value of Rp. 21,280,000/year. The cost of labor outside the family is Rp. 51,975,000/year, with equipment depreciation of Rp. 13,169,429/year. (3) Production costs Rp. 110,658,429/year consisting of fixed costs and variable costs. Gross income of Rp. 192,481,500/year and a net income of Rp. 81,823,071/year. The Return Cost Ratio (RCR) obtained in Pak Kelik's etawa goat farming business is 1.74. Break Event Point (BEP number of female sires) 38 and (BEP rupiah) Rp. 57,028,770.
