Analisis Kelayakan Usahatani Serai Wangi di Desa Siabu Kecamatan Salo Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau

The citronella plant is a grassy plant called Andropogon nardus or Cymbopogon nardus. Siabu Village is one of the largest citronella cultivating areas in Salo District. This study aims to analyze: 1) Characteristics of Farmers and Profiles of Lemongrass Farming 2) Analysis of Citronella Farming 3) Financial Feasibility of Serai Wangi Farming, and 4) Sensitivity of Lemongrass Farming Marsono in Siabu Village, Salo District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province to Changes in Price Increases Input and Decline in Selling Prices, Serai Wangi Farming on its Financial Feasibility. This research was conducted in Siabu Village, Salo District, Kampar Regency from August 2022 to January 2023. The method used is the census method. The data analyzed were processed by descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. The results of the characteristics of citronella farming are productive age with 64 years old, last high school education, number of family dependents 1 and experience in farming 2 years. The business profile includes: the source of capital, namely own capital, the workforce is outside the family workforce of 180 HOK / year, the area of land owned is 8 Ha. For farming analysis includes production costs, income, and business efficiency. Production of 108,000 Kg/Arrowed/Year, Gross Income IDR 54,000,000/Armed/Year, Net Income IDR 22,798,933/Armed/Year and Efficiency of 1.7. The calculation results from the financial feasibility analysis, the Net Present Value is IDR 285,220,045, the Internal Rate of Return is 38% > from the prevailing interest rate of 9.11%, the Net Benefit Cost Ratio is 3.76> 1, and investment return time Payback Period 3 years 9 months 1 day. In the condition of increasing production input prices, the NPV value is Rp. 266,060,422, the IRR is 30%, the Net B/C is 3.54 and the Payback Period is 4 years 1 month 27 days and in the condition of a change in the selling price decrease the NPV value is Rp. 254,252,312, IRR value of 30%, Net B/C of 3.53 and Payback Period of 4 years 2 months 7 days. From the analysis that has been done, Mr. Marsono's farming business in Siabu Village, Salo District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province is Feasible To Be Developed (Executed).
