This application for itsbat nikah was filed by parties who could not prove it marriage through a marriage certificate issued by the Marriage Registrar. The main problem in this study, how is the implementation process legal protection against betel marriage in itsbat nikah in court Pekanbaru religion, and What are the impacts of the betel marriage not in itsbatkan. When viewed from the type of research, the research that the author will use is empirically by way of a survey, namely research that takes samples from a population and using interviews as a primary data collection tool. Meanwhile, when viewed from its nature, this research is categorized in descriptive research that describes the state of the subject or object of research on present day based on facts that appear as they are. The process of legal protection against betel marriage in itsbat Nikah in The Pekanbaru Religious Court is basically the same as the process of implementing Itsbat Other marriages, can be seen in 6 stages, namely: Registration, Payment of Fees Case, Registrar, Chairman of the Religious Court, Panel of Judges, Product Collection Court, and the impact of betel marriage that is not at itsbat, will giving rise to a marriage that is not considered valid, the child only has a relationship civil law with the mother and family of the mother and wife and children are not entitled to demand a living or inheritance Keywords: Implementation, Marriage, Itsbat.
