Pengaruh Kredit Bermasalah terhadap Profitabilitas pada Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) di Kota Pekanbaru
This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of non performing loans on profitability at Rural Banks (BPR) in Pekanbaru City. This study uses financial ratio analysis, where the non-performing loan ratio is measurred by non performing loans (NPL) and Profitability is measured by Return on assets (ROA). This type of research is associative. The population in this study were all Rural Banks (BPR) in the city of Pekanbaru.The sample used is five people’s Rural Banks (BPR) in the city of Pekanbaru. The sampling technique is purposive sampling.Types and data collection tecniques used consisted of interviews and documentation.While the analysis tecniques used the analysis of financial ratios and statictics. The data analysis tool used statistical data processing sofware namely SPSS 21. The results of the significance test showed that problem loans as measured by Non Performing loans (NPL) had a negative effect on profitability as measured by return on assed (ROA). The significance level is 0,000 < 0,05 where H 0 is rejected and H ? is accepted.
