Gambaran Fanatisme Suporter PSPS Riau

Football is one of the most popular sporting events in the world, with the creation of a football competition or league by PSSI, an active group that supports a club as supporters. Supporters themselves are defined as the players of the twelve football clubs because the presence of supporters is very much needed for a football club, one of which is to encourage the players during matches. This refers to the fanaticism of the fans, because fanaticism is a form of exaggerated attitude of football fans in supporting their favorite club. The purpose of this research is to describe the fanaticism that exists among PSPS Riau supporters. This study uses a qualitative research methodology with a case study approach. For data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. The analytical method used is the Miles Huberman Model Analysis Method. Research informants are 6 supporters who are still active in supporting PSPS Riau with the technique of determining informants using purposive sampling that is based on characteristics. The results of the study show a picture of the fanaticism of PSPS Riau supporters including requiring the purchase of stadium entrance tickets, Awaydays, purchasing and collecting PSPS Riau attributes, idolizing PSPS Riau players, supporting PSPS Riau directly from the stadium, prioritizing PSPS Riau and supporting PSPS Riau when they lose or are relegated.
