Analisis Permasalahan Sucker Rod Pump pada Sumur X Lapangan Y untuk Meningkatkan Produksi Menggunakan Software Lowis

M. Nur Rizqi - Personal Name; Novrianti - Personal Name;

X field Y well is an artificial lift well using a Sucker rod pump (SRP) type to help increase oil production. Well X field Y is experiencing a decrease in the production flow rate, so it needs to be increased so that well production can be maximized. To find out the cause, an analysis of the sucker rod pump will be carried out, after knowing the cause of the problem, a solution will be determined to overcome the problem. The cause of the decrease in production was then analyzed using LOWIS software, it turns out that the problem that occurs in well x is fluid pounding which is known based on the shape of the dynocard. Fluid pounding is a problem that often occurs in sucker rod pumps. The next step is to overcome the fluid pounding problem by using the LOWIS software which is connected directly to the rod pump optimization controller (RPOC) to activate the pump off control to turn off and turn on the pump (idle time) in order to know the load (fluid) filled in the pump barrel at during the pumping cycle. By setting the pump off set point parameter in the LOWIS software, you can monitor/control and optimize the production flow rate. Based on the results of the sensitivity of the pump off set point, the results are different. At variations of 50 and 55%, the increase in fluid has started to increase as shown in the peaks polished road load graph, minimum polished rod load, strokes per minute so that production also indirectly increases. a 50% variation of 2,900 lbs and a 55% variation of 3,200 lbs.
