Keterlibatan Perempuan dalam Jerat Peredaran Gelap Narkotika (Studi Kasus Penangkapan Perempuan Terlibat Narkotika Oleh Tim Buser Narkoba Polres Kampar)
The involvement of women in crime cases will always be interesting to study. One of them is the involvement of women in the realm of drug abuse. Both as users or perpetrators of narcotics crimes themselves. In the phenomenon, the role of women in narcotics abuse is very diverse, such as women can become victims of narcotics use, women can also become perpetrators of narcotics trafficking which are usually carried out by men. In this study the problems will be reviewed using rational choice theory. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a descriptive type of research with the main research data obtained through interviews with three women as narcotics dealers and the Kampar Police buser team. Based on the results of the interviews that have been conducted, it can be concluded that the involvement of women as perpetrators of illicit drug trafficking in the Kampar Police is based on choices made rationally, because women are less likely to be suspected than men, the influence of unequal power relations between women and men men, better at seducing and tricking, and their movements are not easy to detect. Apart from that, several factors, such as the poverty factor that entangles women's lives and a consumptive lifestyle to women who are addicted to narcotics, are the reasons women are involved in narcotics trafficking. Therefore, the actions taken by these three women as perpetrators of narcotics dealers are a choice, which includes an action taken by the perpetrators and is considered rational in which these actions can make changes to the living conditions of the perpetrators.
