Gambaran Kemandirian Belajar pada Santri di Pondok Pesantren Pekanbaru
In Indonesia, Islamic boarding schools are many choices for parents to be trusted as a place to place their children in order to gain knowledge for the world and the afterlife. The education system using the form of dormitories,this aims to make santri become independent individualis,especially independent in studies.This is one of the goals of the boarding school to form students who are independent in all respects, especially in self learning. This study aims to find out the description of independent learning for students at the Pekanbaru Islamic boarding school for tsanawiyah students with a total of 386 subjects. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The sampling technique in this study used cluster sampling with data collection techniques using a learning independence scale, totaling 19 items. The results of this study indicate that the independence of learning for students at the Pekanbaru Islamic boarding school is in the very high category with a percentage of 54.7%.
