This study aims to determine the implementation of the child identity card program at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Pekanbaru City. The indicators used in this study are: work ethic, authority and responsibility, work mechanism, respect for each employee, division of labor. This research is located at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of the City of Pekanbaru, using a descriptive qualitative type, where by conducting direct interviews in the field, as well as observations at the research location to analyze the empirical conditions that occur. There were key informants and informants in this study, namely the Head of the Population Registration Division, the Head of the Population Identity Section, the Head of the Population Data Management and Innovation Division and the community. The data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings of the implementation of the child's identity card in Pekanbaru that the delivery of information or clarity of information or socialization carried out was not optimal. The inhibiting factor for the implementation of child identity cards is that the delivery of information is not carried out continuously and is constrained by network connections and the child identity card program, there are still those who do not know about the benefits of child identity cards in Pekanbaru City.
