This study aims to identify and analyze the application of the e-office system in managing electronic records at the Medang Kampai District Office, Dumai City, and to determine the inhibiting factors that occur when using the e-office application at the Medang Kampai District Office, Dumai City. E-Office is an application that functions in managing a manuscript electronically, which is created through information technology in the form of a web. E-Office is a tool that helps facilitate office work electronically, changing from a manual system to a technology system that utilizes online network facilities. The application of the E-Office system can provide many benefits in increasing the effectiveness of official correspondence activities, but there are fatal drawbacks. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the application of the e-office system in managing electronic records at the Medang Kampai District Office, Dumai City. . The benefits of this research are as material for consideration that can provide input from various parties, especially all employees of the Medang Kampai District Office, Dumai City. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method that is carried out by way of interviews, observation, and documentation. The information in this study is the District Head of Medang Kampai, Head of Administration, Medang Kampai Administrative Admin. The results of the research on the Effectiveness of Implementing E-Office System Applications in Managing Electronic Archives at the Medang Kampai District Office, Dumai City, are quite effective and well implemented because some employees have received training and the application has been running smoothly, however, network disruptions still occur during mail management. when using e- office.
