Upaya Penegakan Hukum terhadap Peredaran Minuman Beralkohol di Wilayah Hukum Kota Pekanbaru

Alcoholic beverages are a type of NAZA (Narcotics, Alcohol and Addictive Substances) in the form of drinks containing alcohol which can cause a person to lose consciousness which has an impact on behavior to commit criminal acts. In this case, the government and the community carry out law enforcement against the circulation of beverages in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. Law enforcement efforts are aimed at increasing order and certainty in society. The government seeks to control the circulation of alcoholic beverages such as places of sale. The main problem in this study is how to enforce the law against the distribution of alcoholic beverages and obstacles in efforts to enforce the law against alcoholic beverages in the jurisdiction of Pekanbaru City. The approach method applied in this research is sociological legal research by conducting a survey. This study requires the author to collect data by going directly to the research site by conducting surveys and interviews with the industry and trade offices and the Satpol PP. While the nature of the research that the author uses is descriptive analytical, the author investigates all the symptoms of crime as widely as possible how to overcome the crime. Based on the results of research on law enforcement efforts against the distribution of alcoholic beverages in the jurisdiction of Pekanbaru City, the authors obtained answers from the results of interviews with the relevant agencies, namely that this non-judicial action was carried out by providing guidance and direction so as not to repeat the act. Meanwhile, pro justicia action is a legal action in accordance with statutory regulations. Obstacles in efforts to enforce the law against the circulation of alcoholic beverages in the jurisdiction of Pekanbaru City are that the public does not comply with regulations and weak government oversight. So that it cannot control all the behaviors or problems that exist in society.
