This information is related to origin, safety, quality, nutritional content and other necessary information. In this regard, it is necessary to establish provisions regarding food labels and advertising so that the public can make decisions based on accurate information. Labels are a communication tool to convey product information so that it is easily understood by consumers. A well-arranged label will make it easier for consumers to choose the product they want to consume. The main problem in this research is the legal awareness of consumers regarding the inclusion of labeling on food products in souvenir shops in Pekanbaru City. How to Solve the Problem of Consumer Legal Awareness Regarding the Inclusion of Labeling on Food Products in Pekanbaru City Souvenir Shops. This research uses the legal research method of observational research or survey where this research collects information from respondents using data collection tools in the form of interviews and the nature of this research is analytical descriptive, that is, the research provides data as accurately as possible to describe consumer legal awareness regarding the inclusion of labeling on food products in Indonesia. Pekanbaru City Souvenir Shop. The results of the research show that Consumer Legal Awareness of the Inclusion of Labeling on Food Products in Pekanbaru City Souvenir Shops has not been implemented well, where there is a large number of foods circulating without halal labels that do not fulfill several aspects of the halal label and registration by BPOM and LPPOM MUI because lack of awareness from business actors and still minimal supervision, and a list of ingredients used in food without a halal label. Resolving the Problem of Consumer Legal Awareness Regarding the Inclusion of Labeling on Food Products in Pekanbaru City Souvenir Shops includes empowerment efforts for both consumers and business actors, which is important because it is not easy to expect the awareness of business actors and consumers that basically the economic principle of business actors is to make a profit. as much as possible with as little capital as possible. This principle has the potential to harm consumers' interests, both directly and indirectly.
