Pengaruh Kotoran Walet dan Kompos Eceng Gondok terhadap Pertumbuhan Serta Produksi Pare (Momordica Charantia L.)
The aim of this study was to determine the interaction effect as well as the main effect of swallow droppings and water hyacinth compost on the growth and yield of bitter gourd plants. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution, No. 113 Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The time of this research was carried out for three months from September to November 2022. This research used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design with two factors. The first factor is swallow droppings, consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 180, 360, 540 g/plant. The second factor was water hyacinth compost, consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 540, 720, 900 g/plot. So that there were 16 treatment combinations with three replications, so there were 48 plots. Each plot consists of 8 plants and 2 plants as samples so that the total plant is 384 plants. Parameters observed were flowering age, relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, harvest age, fruit diameter, number of fruit planted, and fruit weight planted. Observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the interaction effect of swallow droppings and water hyacinth compost has a significant effect on all parameters except harvest age. The best treatment was swallow droppings (540 g/plant) and water hyacinth compost (720 g/plot). The main effect on swallow droppings significantly affected all observation parameters with the best treatment of swallow droppings 540 g/plant. The main effect of water hyacinth compost has a significant effect on all observed parameters except harvest age. Best treatment of water hyacinth compost 720 g/plot.
