Legal protection for workers aims to eliminate the system of slavery and ensure that workers are more humanized. A work agreement for a certain time (PKWT) is based on the time period or completion of a certain job. The reason why this research is that there are irregularities that are often carried out by PT. Barelang Sejatera Prima, namely regarding the term or period of work of contract workers which is regulated in Article 59 of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Employment, so this research aims to determine the form of legal protection for contract workers at PT. Barelang Prosperous Prima. The type of legal research used is empirical (sociological) legal research, while the nature of this research uses a descriptive analysis method, namely to provide an overview based on the data collected accompanied by analysis supported by primary data obtained from field research. The method for drawing conclusions in this research is deductive, namely drawing conclusions from general matters to specific matters. In general, the research results explain that the form of legal protection for contract workers in the PT. Barelang Sejahtera Prima can only be carried out repressively, namely controlling or correcting it after a dispute occurs. Protection of contract workers at PT. Barelang Sejahtera Prima consists of, social security protection, wage protection, protection and protection for Industrial Relations Dispute Settlement. PT's constraint factors. Barelang Sejahtera Prima in providing legal protection to workers, namely: Relating to Regulations, because employers consider it more efficient to use workers with a Certain Time Work Agreement (PKWT) system when compared to using workers/laborers with an Indefinite Time Work Agreement (PKWTT) system.
