Every time there is a criminal act besides that there is a perpetrator who will also cause victims. Victims can be criminal actors, or victims arising from criminal acts committed by other parties. Victims of crime are parties who suffer as a result of the crime they experience. Therefore, it is necessary to know to what extent victims have received legal protection in accordance with what is expected, whether the victims are children, adults or people with disabilities. Law No. 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities is a form of legal protection and fulfillment of rights provided by PPA Unit VI of the Pekanbaru Police for persons with disabilities who are victims of sexual violence. The main problem in this research is what are the factors causing sexual violence against children with disabilities in the jurisdiction of the Pekanbaru Police? This type of research uses Empirical or Sociological law, namely by survey method, in which the author goes directly to the research location to obtain the data needed by using a data collection tool in the form of interviews with respondents. The nature of this research is descriptive analysis, which means that this research provides a clear picture of the causes of sexual violence against children with disabilities in the jurisdiction of the Pekanbaru Police and legal protection for victims of sexual violence against children with disabilities in the jurisdiction of the Pekanbaru Police. Based on the research results obtained, the forms of legal protection for persons with disabilities who are victims of sexual violence are assistance, psychological recovery, and medical assistance to victims as well as the efforts made by the Pekanbaru Police and various organizations caring for persons with disabilities to provide attention to persons with disabilities.
