This research is motivated by the occurrence of technological developments resulting in a demand for the Court to carry out the administration and electronic-based trials or currently known as e-Courts, which determined by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia through the Regulation of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2019 concerning Administration of Cases and Trials at Electronic Court, which is one of the institutions' efforts judiciary to realize the principle of a simple, fast and low cost trial, which allows litigants to more easily go through the process judiciary by using an e-Court application consisting of: registration (e-Filling), payment (ePayment), summons (e-Summons), trial (e-Litigation), with the existence of this eCourt system, it is hoped that provide convenience and lead to other positive consequences. The issuance of Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2019 concerning the Administration of Cases and Trials in Courts Electronically (e-litigation) is an attempt by the Supreme Court to realize modern court services based on information technology in the era of digitalization 4.0.The religious court is one of the judicial bodies that organizes electronic trials. The main problem in this study is how the procedure for the e-litigation trial at the Pekanbaru religious court is and whether the implementation of the elitigation trial has been implemented efficiently by the Pekanbaru religious court. This research is a type of empirical legal research, the research data used is primary and then presented descriptively, namely by parsing, explaining, and describing in accordance with the problems that are closely related to this research. The results that can be drawn from this study are that the procedure for implementing e-court at the Pekanbaru Religious Court Class IA has been carried out according to the procedure, from the registration stage to the time the judge's decision is read as regulated in Supreme Court Regulation No. 1 of 2009 concerning Case and Trial Administration.in Electronic Court.The trial at the Pekanbaru Religious Court by e-litigation is still experiencing obstacles from various legal factors themselves, law enforcement, facilities that support law enforcement, society, and culture so that it cannot be said to run effectively and efficiently.
