The Effect of Using Socrative Application Toward Students’ Vocabulary Mastery of the Fifth Grade Students at SDN 004 Tembilahan. Keywords: Socrative Application, Vocabulary The objective of this research is to know whether or not the significant effect of using Socrative Application toward Students’ Vocabulary Mastery. Socrative is one of Application based learning and allows all of students to answer several questios fast and easy and at the same time the teacher knows the answer, which can improve vocabulary skill, reading skill, and writing skill. The research was experimental. The population of this research was the fifth grade students at SDN 004 Tembilahan Kota in academic years 2022/2023. The researcher used random sampling technique. The sample of the research was 5A as the control class and 5B as the experimental class. The instrument of this research was a vocabulary test. The form of the test was multiple choices, it is consist of 25 items for the pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed by using paired sample t-test from SPSS version 23. The result showed that there was a different result between pre-test and post-test in experimental class with mean score of 54.56 and 83.20. It means that the students’ vocabulary after doing the treatment by using Socrative Application has increased. The score of t-counted was higher than t-table (5.081 > 1.677). So, it means that the alternative hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. It can be concluded that there was the significant effect on the fifth grade students’ vocabulary after being taught by using Socrative Application at SDN 004 Tembilahan Kota.
