E-tickets have been inaugurated and are expected to minimize traffic violations and improve driving discipline. This paper examines the mechanism, types of violations, sanctions, and problems with solutions in the enforcement of E-Tickets. The application of E-tickets is based on the need to enforce the rule of law regarding traffic order using a very easy and practical concept, as so far there have been many unknown violations because police officers are not under 24 hours of supervision. Based on the subject matter taken from the writing of this thesis, how is the system of implementing E-Tilang in Pekanbaru City Legal Area of the Riau Police Ditlantas which is a new thing in road traffic law enforcement in Indonesia. And what were the obstacles when the E-Ticket was enforced in Pekanbaru City, the Legal Area of the Riau Police Traffic Directorate. As a novelty, E-Tilang is continuously being improved and refined. Moreover, E-Tilang was developed in the existing road traffic law, so it can be ascertained that there is a problem with road traffic law enforcement. The writing method in this study is an empirical research method. Empirical legal research or observation (observational research) which is another approach model in researching law as an object of research, the type of legal research that is carried out by analyzing and studying a problem directly, either by interview or by making an observation. The results showed that the E-Tickets that had been applied in monitoring the actions of traffic violations such as not using the appropriate helmet were studied, showing that they provide aspects of function and purpose and provide constraint factors along with existing solutions in carrying out police duties so that they are relatively compatible with the application of E-Tilang as a new mechanism in road traffic law enforcement in Indonesia.
