Pengaruh Lama Pencahayaan terhadap Kecerahan Warna dan Sintasan Ikan Platy Pedang (Xipophorus Helleri)
The research was carried out for 30 days starting in December 2021 at the Fish Seed Center (BBI) Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine "The Effect of Long Lighting on Color Brightness, and Survival of Sword Platy Fish (Hypophorus helleri)''. The method used is an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications, namely: (P0) without lighting, (P1) lighting time 1 hour/day, (P2) lighting time 3 hours/day, (P3) lighting time 5 hours/day and (P4) lighting time 7 hours/day. The test fish used were sword platy fish with an average weight of 2 g. Platy fish were obtained from spawning in Muchsin's Aquafarm on Arengka Pekanbaru Riau. The container used is an aquarium measuring 40 x 60 x 40 cm as many as 15 pieces with a water height of 30 cm. The best results in the treatment of 7 hours of lighting time, namely the brightness level of fish at level 23 and survival rate of 82.67%. The results of water quality measurements are temperature 25.5-280C, pH 7-8, and dissolved oxygen 5.32-6.71 ppm.
