Mathematics learning in the 2013 Curriculum requires students to improve their thinking skills and conceptual interpretation in solving mathematical problems. MAS Darul Aiman is one of the formal education schools equivalent to high schools managed by the Ministry of Religion. The majority of students at MAS Darul Aiman do not like mathematics learning because they consider mathematics difficult and boring. This means that students do not yet have good mathematical problem-solving skills. The purpose of this study is to identify the ability to solve mathematical problems from the thinking process that students use at MAS Darul Aiman. A qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach was used in this study with 20 students from class X in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through two techniques, namely written tests and interviews. The results of the study showed that: 1) students with conceptual thinking processes have high problem-solving abilities, namely carrying out all stages of problem solving according to Polya. 2) Students with semi-conceptual thinking processes have moderate problem-solving abilities, namely carrying out three stages of problem solving according to Polya, namely understanding the problem, making a problem-solving plan and carrying out problem solving according to plan. 3) Students with computational thinking processes have low problem-solving abilities, namely they are not yet able to solve the problems given well and correctly.
