Analisa Kualitas Layanan Wi-fi di Universitas Riau dengan Metode Quality Of Experience (QOE)
Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) is a communication and information technology that operates on Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) networks and devices. In this service, devices used to access the internet work wirelessly. To evaluate the quality of telecommunications services, there are two measures used, namely Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE). This study aims to determine the problems of Wi-Fi services, determine the priority factors, and gain an understanding of the perceptions and satisfaction of students as users of the quality of Wi-Fi services provided at the University of Riau using the Quality of Experience measurement. From the research results it can be seen that it can be observed that all indicators show a good category. However, there is a system quality that is not good enough, such as in all types of weather and cannot be reached in all areas of the campus, which is calculated based on the analysis, which is below 60%. This means that users think that there is still a need for improvement in the system quality factor analysis. But overall the Wi-Fi service is good. And based on the results of calculations from factor analysis, it can be concluded that the dominant factor in this study is service quality, with a percentage of 69.3%. This factor has a significant influence on the quality of the Wi-Fi user experience in the campus environment.
