Pengaruh Konsentrasi Ekstrak Daun Pepaya (Carica Papaya L) untuk Pengobatan Infeksi Jamur Saprolegnia Sp pada Benih Ikan Gurami (Osphronemus Gouramy)

This research aims to determine the influence and optimal concentration of papaya leaf extract for treating Saprolegnia sp fungal infection in gourami fish seeds. The method employed was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications, namely treatment P0: without papaya leaf extract (0 gr/L), treatment P1: papaya leaf extract concentration of 0.1 gr/L, P2 (0.2 gr/L), P3 (0.3 gr/L), and P4 (0.4 gr/L). The parameters measured included the duration of healing, survival rate, and water quality parameters (temperature, pH, DO, and ammonia). The results showed that the concentration of papaya leaf extract significantly affected the treatment of Saprolegnia sp fungal infection in gourami fish seeds. The best concentration of papaya leaf extract was obtained in treatment P4 (0.4 gr/L), where it could heal gourami fish seeds infected with Saprolegnia sp fungus within 4 days with a survival rate of 80.00 ± 0.82%.
