This study was motivated by the growing interest of the community in starting SMEs. To realize their business ambitions, assistance was needed to address the common problem faced by SME entrepreneurs: capital. One of the Islamic financial institutions that could aid the development of SMEs was PT. BPRS Berkah Dana Fadhlillah. The aim of this study was to understand the role of Murabaha financing in empowering SMEs (a study on the customers of PT. BPRS Berkah Dana Fadhlillah (PERSERODA) in Air Tiris, Kampar Regency). This research was conducted at PT. BPRS Berkah Dana Fadhlillah in Air Tiris, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The informants in this study were 5 individuals: 3 SME customers and 2 representatives from PT. BPRS Berkah Dana Fadhlillah. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicated that Murabaha financing at PT. BPRS Berkah Dana Fadhlillah played a role in enhancing SME empowerment, increasing income, and providing an understanding of usury through Murabaha financing.
