The aim of this research is to determine the role of the Anambas Islands Regency Civil Service Police Unit in maintaining public security and order and its obstacles. The main theory used in this research is role theory according to Jim Ife (2014). The method used is descriptive and qualitative; The key informants were the Head of Satpol PP, Bhabinkamtibmas, Satpol PP employees, Linmas members and teenagers who were caught in the raid. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that the role of the Anambas Islands Regency Civil Service Police Unit in maintaining security and public order has been carried out optimally by providing direct counseling, outreach and supervision. However, until now cases of juvenile delinquency are still rampant without any deterrent effect for teenagers who commit them. For this reason, the Satpol PP will continue to act and coordinate with related parties so that it will suppress the decline in cases of juvenile delinquency in the Anambas Islands Regency. Obstacles in the role of the Anambas Islands Regency Civil Service Police Unit in maintaining public security and order include: The ability factor of the Satpol PP officers, the work initiative factor, the facilities and infrastructure factors that do not support or hinder the implementation of duties and functions, such as the field operational vehicles that are still being used. very limited, as are other facilities and the budget factor managed is very minimal, the available budget is not comparable to the service activities that must be funded every year, so that the Satpol-PP Office experiences a budget deficit.
