In this day and age, technological developments and advances in various fields because of this technology make it easier for many people to get information. This is certainly progress for this nation because the information presented can be easily obtained by all groups. However, this is also a thorn in the side of this nation when its people cannot effectively use technology. Why is that because it is easy to access and also get information, many people easily receive this information without sorting and choosing. There are two main problems that researchers raise from this research, namely First, what are the factors that cause minors to become perpetrators of violent crimes in the Pekanbaru Police jurisdiction and Second, what are the efforts to deal with minors as perpetrators of violent crimes in the Pekanbaru Police jurisdiction. This research uses an observation research or field research method by surveying directly into the field to collect primary and secondary data obtained from respondents either through questionnaires or interviews to be used as data or information as research writing material. The results of this research conclude that the factors that cause minors to become perpetrators of violent crimes in the Pekanbaru Police jurisdiction are due to internal factors such as emotional factors because the perpetrators are still emotionally unstable because they are still teenagers, so the perpetrators get emotional easily because they are not given money. by the victim, and also because of family factors, where the family is the main part in forming a person's character, then the role of the family is a factor in whether someone commits a deviant act or not.
