Indonesia, which is rich in culture and tradition, is not spared from shamanic practices that can be abused, such as cases of sexual violence under the pretext of shamanic knowledge which often occur in various regions, including in the jurisdiction of the Rengat District Court. Sexual violence is a serious violation of human rights; this act not only harms the victim physically and psychologically, but also harms the moral and cultural values of society; and belief in shamanism only worsens the psychological impact of victims and hinders law enforcement. Cases of sexual violence committed using shamanic knowledge are acrucial issue of increasing concern, especially in the jurisdiction of the Rengat District Court. Law enforcement against prepetrators of sexual violence using shamanic knowledge is important to provide a sense of justice for victims and prevent similar cases from happening again. This research aims to describe in detail the froms and methods of sexual violence using shamanic knowledge in the jurisdiction of the Rengat District Court, examine the effectiveness of law enforcement against perpetrators of sexual violence, as well as identify the obstacles that hinder efferctive law enforcement in the area, and formulate solution to overcome these obstacles in order to increase the effectiveness of law enforcement in the region. This reseach uses empirical normative reseacrh methods with a qualitative approach. Primary data was obtained through interviews with law enforcement officers, victims, perpetrators of sexual violence, witnesses and criminal law experts. Secondary data was obtained through literature studies, legislation, court decisions related to the case, as well as relevent literature from scientific journals, textbooks and scientific articles. It is hoped that the result of this research will provide a comprehensive undertanding of the problem of sexual violence under the pretext of shamanism in the jurisdiction of the Rengat District Court. With this research, is hoped that it can provide a clearer view of the steps that need to be taken to ensure maximum protection for victims and more effective enforcement of justice in the jurisdiction of the Rengat District Court.
