Analisis Usahatani Dan Pemasaran Di Kecamatan Gunung Toar Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi
Analysis of Rubber Farming and Marketing in Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, under the guidance of Mr. Dr.Ir. Ujang Uncle Ismail, M.Agr as supervisor I and Mr. Dr. Fahrial.SP., SE., ME as Supervisor II. Agriculture, especially the plantation subsector, plays an important role in the Indonesian economy. Rubber is one of the plantation commodities that has contributed greatly to the national GDP. This study aims to (1) Describe the characteristics of rubber farmers and rubber farming profiles, (2) Analyze rubber farming, (3) Analyze rubber marketing. The method used in this research is the survey method, this research was conducted in Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province from July to December 2023. Samples taken as many as 75 people using simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitative and qualitative with the approach of farm management and marketing management. The results showed that the characteristics of rubber farmers with an average age of being at the productive age of 47 years, the education of farmers was still low on average 10 years or junior high school, the average farming experience for 21 years, and the average number of family dependents amounted to 5 people. Rubber farming profile with land was inherited from the family, in doing farm management using their own capital. The average land area owned was 1.47 ha and the average use of labor was 54.08 HOK. The average farm production costs incurred by rubber farmers through farmer groups amounted to Rp 18,581,347, - per hectare / year, with production of 3,271 kg / ha / year with receipts of Rp 27,803,211, - and net income received was Rp 9,221,863 / ha / year. Rubber farming has been managed efficiently with an RCR value of 1.49. The marketing channel used was from Rubber Farmers - Farmer Groups - Wholesalers (factories). The marketing functions carried out in farmer groups include: sales, purchasing, transportation, storage, capital, risk-bearing, market information, standardization and grading. Marketing institutions involved in farmer groups and are large traders (factories). The average marketing cost of rubber farmers was Rp 2,125/kg. The marketing margin was Rp 2,500/kg. Farmer's share of farmers 77.27%. Marketing profits received by farmer groups Rp 1,750 / kg. marketing efficiency of 15.91%. Keywords: Rubber, Farming, Marketing
