Perlindungan Konsumen atas Transaksi Pembelian Gas Lpg 3 Kg di Atas Harga Eceran Tertinggi di Kecamatan Tuah Madani

The highest retail price for 3 kg LPG is different in each region according to the decisions of each regional government. In resolving price issues that occur in the market due to differences in buying and selling activities, the formation of agreed market prices also varies. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to regulate the highest retail price for 3 Kg LPG gas in Tuah Madani District and how to implement the highest retail price for 3 KG LPG gas in Tuah Madani District. This research uses sociological methods, carried out through observations, interviews and distributing questionnaires in Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City, to understand the implementation and problems related to the highest retail price of 3 KG LPG gasThe population includes gas agents and local communities, with samples taken by census and purposive sampling. Data sources consist of primary data related to price regulation and implementation, as well as secondary data from related literature and regulations. Data was collected through interviews, analyzed qualitatively, and conclusions were drawn inductively based on field facts and regulations. The research results show that setting the highest retail price for 3 KG LPG Gas is necessary to protect consumers from unreasonable prices and ensure prices comply with predetermined standards. The implementation of this policy in Tuah Madani Subdistrict must be carefully monitored, with effective supervision and law enforcement from the local government or relevant agencies, so that consumer rights can be effectively protected.
