Analisis Optimasi Persediaan Bahan Baku Kedelai pada Agroindustri Tahu di Kecamatan Pangkalan Kerinci Kabupaten Pelalawan (Kasus: Pabrik Tahu Sutra Pak Poh)
The silk tofu agroindustry business in Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency, has been running since 2010 until now. The availability of raw materials and good market opportunities make this silk tofu business an opportunity to increase income distribution. Soybeans are the raw material for making tofu. Soybeans supplies must be procured in a timely manner and in sufficient quantity, so that the production process runs smoothly. This study aims to analyze: (1) Characteristics and profile of Pak Poh's silk tofu agro-industry business; (2) Optimal raw material inventory (EOQ), and total inventory cost; (3) Safety stock level; (4) Reorder point. This research used a case study method, which was carried out in Pak Poh sutra tofu factory Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency from December 2023 to April 2024. Respondents were taken by census with a total of 2 respondents. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitatively using the economic order quantity (EOQ) method. The results showed that: (1) Characteristics of employers and labor aged 45 years (productive), 12 years of education (equivalent to high school), quite experienced business experience (14 years), family dependents as many as 4 people. Pak Poh's silk tofu agroindustry is classified as a micro business with an initial capital of IDR 50,000,000, and a workforce of 2 people. (2) The optimal amount of soybean raw material orders (EOQ) is 5.181 kg with a frequency of orders 6 times a year. Total inventory cost of Rp1,231,428/year. (3) The amount of safety stock is 12,24 kg. (4) The reorder point is 205,52 kg.
