Pencemaran air di Sungai Siak menjadi isu lingkungan yang serius akibat limbah industri, rumah tangga, dan pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem monitoring kualitas air sungai berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dengan metode Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment Water Quality Index (CCME-WQI). Sistem ini menggunakan ESP32 yang terintegrasi dengan sensor pH, suhu, dissolved oxygen (DO), electrical conductivity (EC), dan ultrasonik untuk memantau parameter kualitas air secara real-time. Data diakses melalui platform berbasis website, memungkinkan pemantauan langsung dan pengambilan keputusan cepat. Metode prototyping digunakan dalam pengembangan, mulai dari desain hingga implementasi lapangan. Pengujian dilakukan pada berbagai waktu untuk memverifikasi akurasi sensor terhadap standar alat ukur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem mampu mendeteksi parameter dengan akurasi tinggi, menghasilkan data kualitas air Sungai Siak yang tergolong buruk dengan indeks CCME-WQI di bawah 45. Sistem ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pemantauan lingkungan, memudahkan identifikasi dini terhadap pencemaran, dan mendukung kebijakan pelestarian.
