SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN MENENTUKAN PETERNAK PRODUKSI TERBAIK MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING (SAW)

PT. Andalan Sehat is a poultry farming partnership company with branches
throughout Indonesia, one of which is located in the Rokan Hulu Regency of Riau
Province. Every day, farmers are required to report sample data on the development
of broiler chickens. Based on the submitted sample data, the analysis team manually
compares the data of each farmer and decides which farmer has the best production
to be recommended for harvesting. However, this process presents several issues,
such as discrepancies between the results and the data submitted, as well as a lack
of transparency in the calculation process. This often leads to misunderstandings
between PT. Andalan Sehat and the farmers. Given these problems, there is a need
for a Decision Support System (DSS) that can facilitate farmers in reporting sample
data and ensure information transparency, thus promoting fairness among all
farmers. The method used is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This
method is implemented into a decision support system that provides transparent
ranking results, accessible by all partner farmers of PT. Andalan Sehat. Based on
the result of the system implementation carried out on 10 sample farmer data.
Produces the final value of each alternative sample data, the highest value is 0.903
in the name of farmer Susi, which is ranked 1, meaning it is recommended for
harvest.
