The thesis with the title "Functions of the Muaro Sentajo Village Consultative Body, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency Based on Regional Regulations of Kuantan Singingi Regency Number 1 of 2009 Concerning Village Consultative Bodies" aims to find out how the BPD functions in Muaro Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency in making Village Regulations based on Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. And what is one of the BPDs in Muaro Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency? As material for research and also to know the science in the Muaro Sentajo village government system. The writing method in this research is an empirical research method. Empirical legal research or observation (observational research) is another approach to researching law as an object of research, a type of legal research that is carried out by analyzing and studying an issue directly, either by interviewing or by making observations. The results of the research show that the function of the BPD in making village regulations has been implemented well as regulated in Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, the BPD has the function of discussing and agreeing on draft village regulations with the village head, accommodating and channeling community aspirations and Also monitoring the performance of the Village Head, which is appropriately reviewed, shows aspects of function and objectives and provides obstacle factors and existing solutions in the implementation of making village regulations so that they are relatively compatible with the function of the BPD itself.
