The waste management policy, which so far has only relied on the collect, transport, dispose of by relying on the existence of a Final Processing Site, has been changed to the 3R approach (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle). The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze how the Evaluation of Garbage Transport in Temporary Shelters by the Pekanbaru City Environment and Sanitation Service (Study in Rumbai District). This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach using structured interviews with related informants. The results of this study indicate that in carrying out waste transportation carried out by the Environment and Sanitation Service it cannot be said to be good, because at this stage of waste transportation, delays in waste transportation still occur. In terms of waste disposal facilities, it is still categorized as very lacking for region III, namely rumbai subdistrict, because there is still no special place available by the Pekanbaru City Environment and Sanitation Service (DLHK) for wet waste and dry waste in the community, also seen from the facilities and infrastructure provided still not enough. From the point of view of waste sanitation financing, it can be seen that the cost of solid waste comes from government and non-government sources. The obstacles faced in the implementation of waste management are that there is no winner for the waste project auction by a third party so that the waste problem is again handled by the city government, there is still a lack of public awareness for waste disposal and there is still a lack of infrastructure in waste transportation.
