Evaluasi Pelaksanaan Tugas Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran Dan Penyelamatan Kota Pekanbaru Dalam Menanggulangi Kebakaran
This study aims to determine the results of the implementation of the duties of the Pekanbaru City Fire and Rescue Service in tackling fires and the obstacles encountered in tackling fires. The theory used in this study uses evaluation theory according to Taliziduhu Ndraha. The indicators in this study are: response timeliness, task distribution, and evaluation implementation. This research was conducted at the Pekanbaru City Fire and Rescue Service, using a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The key informants in this study were the Head of the Fire Department, and the research informants were firefighters and the community. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the implementation of the duties of the Pekanbaru City Fire and Rescue Service in tackling fires is good but not optimal. There are several inhibiting factors that affect the success of the implementation of the Pekanbaru City Fire and Rescue Service's duties in tackling fires, namely the lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure, the lack of fire fighting operational personnel, and the lack of awareness of the road user community to provide access to officers when fire engines to the location of the fire is a factor that hinders the smooth running of firefighting and rescue services.
