Design and Construction of a Monitoring System for PM 2.5, CO2, Smoke, and Temperature in Green Open Spaces in Pekanbaru Based on the Internet of Things

Pencemaran udara di kawasan perkotaan seperti Pekanbaru semakin meningkat akibat aktivitas industri dan transportasi. Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) sebagai paru-paru kota memerlukan sistem pemantauan kualitas udara yang akurat dan real-time untuk mendeteksi keberadaan polutan berbahaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem pemantauan kualitas udara berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang mampu mendeteksi parameter PM2.5, CO?, asap, dan suhu secara real-time di kawasan RTH Pekanbaru. Sistem ini menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 yang terintegrasi dengan sensor Dust (PM2.5), MQ-135 (CO?), MQ-2 (asap), dan DHT22 (suhu). Data dari sensor dikirimkan ke server, ditampilkan melalui website monitoring, dan disertai notifikasi otomatis melalui Telegram apabila nilai polutan melebihi ambang batas. Pengujian sistem dilakukan secara menyeluruh menggunakan metode black box dan uji keakuratan terhadap alat konvensional. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menampilkan data secara real-time dengan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi (rata-rata error < 2%). Selain itu, sistem dapat berjalan stabil tanpa gangguan dalam periode uji dan memberikan peringatan secara tepat waktu. Kesimpulannya, sistem ini berhasil memenuhi kebutuhan pemantauan kualitas udara di RTH secara adaptif dan responsif, serta dapat dijadikan solusi awal untuk penerapan teknologi lingkungan berbasis IoT.
