Gambaran Perilaku Prososial Pada Mahasiswa Psikologi Universitas Islam Riau

Prosocial behavior includes all forms of action taken or planned to help others who are in trouble regardless of the helper's motives. This study aims to analyze and find out the description of prosocial behavior in students of the Faculty of Psychology, Islamic University of Riau. The subjects in this study were 100 students of the Faculty of Psychology, Riau Islamic University who were determined using the stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is the prosocial behavior scale compiled by Monica (2021) which consists of 38 items. The analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that the majority of students from the Faculty of Psychology, Islamic University of Riau, show prosocial behavior in the high category, namely 57%. In terms of gender, it is known that the majority of male students also show prosocial behavior in the very high category. If viewed from the year of admission, it is known that all generations studied showed prosocial behavior in the very high category.
